Welcome to Lionglen Ysterberg Mastiffs located in the tranquil setting of Summerfield Botanical Garden and Exclusive Resort in the Kingdom of Swaziland and most recently renamed the Kingdom of Eswatini.
We are proud and privileged to be members of the Ysterberg Mastiff Breeders Council and for the opportunity to participate in the breeding programme of these amazing Ysterberg Mastiffs. We are committed to ensuring that we breed to meet the stringent standards set by the breed council and in particular firstly for soundness of temperament, health, balance and construction.
An important part of our breeding programme is to ensure that our dogs are well socialized. They mingle well with one another as a single pack and can be often observed being led on leashes through various parts of Summerfield Botanical Garden and Exclusive Resort mingling with guests. This is a demonstration of the breeds ability to be trained and socialized and yet retain its instinctive guarding and protective abilities.
Ysterberg Mastiff owners must commit themselves to taking good care of their dogs and in return reap the rewards of having an affectionate and loving companion, who will stand by your side when you need him. Treat him as you would treat a dear friend and he will follow you, sleep by you and watch over you.
